Refund policy

1. General Policy
  • Returns accepted within 7 days of purchase (in-store) or 14 days from delivery (online orders).
  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) required.

2. Non-Returnable Items
  • Perishable food and beverage items (snacks, fruit, grab-and-go meals).
  • Magazines and newspapers.
  • Gift cards.
  • Final-sale and clearance items.

3. Exchanges
  • Exchanges available for defective, damaged, or incorrect items.
  • Must be reported within 7 days of purchase/delivery.
  • Replacement will be shipped free of charge.

4. Refunds
  • Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
  • Please allow 5–7 business days for funds to appear.

5. Online Orders – Return Process
  1. Contact our team at mail@theretailgirl.com or call (704) 900-6611 with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We’ll provide a Return Authorization Number and instructions.
  3. Pack items securely and ship back using USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
  4. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective/incorrect.
  5. Once received, your refund/exchange will be processed within 3–5 business days.

6. In-Store Returns
  • Bring your item and receipt to The Retail Girl Market (Charlotte, NC).
  • Refunds issued to the original payment method or store credit.
